The KSA1220A transistor is a PNP from ON Semiconductors. It is a PNP Power amplifier transistor that is commonly used for high-frequency amplification and Audio frequency (AF) amplification. It is commonly used in Class B Amplifier circuits or projects. The Class B amplifiers require NPN and PNP transistors to amplify the positive and negative portions of an audio wave. In these circuits, the KSA1220A is used as a PNP transistor and the KSC2690A NPN transistor is used.
