Typically there are two different methods of making a two-way light switch. The 1st one is 2-wire control and the other is 3-wire control. We are going to explain both methods in the tutorial with pics as well as through the video.
In this method, two wires are connected between both switches, it is the old method. Connections are shown in the diagram given below.
As you see in the circuit diagram of the 2-way switch circuit above, you see that the phase is connected with the common of the 1st switch. PIN no1 and PIN no2 of the first two-way switch are connected with the PIN1 and PIN2 of the second switch. The bulb is connected to the Common pin of the 2nd switches and the other end of the saver is connected to the Neutral line. Working on two-way switching is given in the table given below. This configuration of this circuit is similar to the EX-NOR gate in digital electronics.

This method is commonly used nowadays as it is more efficient than the Two-Wire control system. It is also a modern method to make a 2-way switching connection as it is a little different from the two-wire control method.
According to the Circuit Diagram of the 2-way switch circuit above, the common switch1 and switch2 are connected with each other. PIN-1 of both the switches is connected with the phase and PIN2 of both the switches is connected with pin2 and the lamp is connected in series.
