BC559 General Purpose PNP Transistor
In this article, we are going to explain the BC559 transistor pinout, equivalent, features, uses, and other detail. Transistor BC559 is a general-purpose PNP transistor. It has many different versions. It can be used for amplification as well as in switching electronic circuits. The Collector−Emitter Voltages of BC559 are -30V, the Collector−Base Voltages are 30V, and the Emitter Base Voltage is 5V.
In biased conditions BC559 transistor can allow a Max current of -100mA across the Collector-Emitter Junction, it is the saturation state of the transistor. When the BC559 transistor is a current-controlled device. when the base current is removed it becomes fully off, this condition of the transistor is called Cut-off Region.
