4 volts simple inverter project: explanation

4 volts simple inverter: In mini electronic projects, conversion of DC voltage to AC voltage is a very interesting and common problem. In most circuits, we observe that almost all design of circuit takes the AC input and gives DC output. But, as we want to change the circuit from DC to AC then a DC to AC converter circuit is used. The converter/inverter is required for this purpose. So, to convert the DC to AC converter circuit is used.

In this mini electronics project, I am going to make a very simple but very very interesting circuit. This circuit is 4 volts DC to 220 volts AC.  I have used very simply and scraped components to build this circuit. These components are founds in mobile chargers and also in the CFL circuits.

Components Required 4 volts simple inverter

  • Transformer from old mobile charger circuit
  • 10 to 110-ohm resistor
  • 13005 or equivalent Transistor
  • 4.5uf capacitor from old CFL circuit
  • 4 volts batteries
  • some Piece of Wires

Transformer ( From mobile phone charger or equivalent)

In this circuit, we can use a mobile phone charger transformer. Keep in mind all mobile phone charger circuit has a different structure of the transformer. So you must check the transformer structure before using it in this mini 4 to 220v inverter.

you can measure this transformer by using a multimeter. We must have to use the maximum ohm coil of the transformer for output.

If Does not Work through this connection then just make a little change. Resistor connection replaces with point no 6 to point no 5. The jumper of + changes from point no 5 to 6. The circuit diagram is given below.

If the above circuit does not work then change the connections like the given below circuit diagram it will work 100 percent. It is a very simple 4 volts simple inverter that is why it’s power is very low so uses minimum watts as output to get the result.

Note: Because it is a developed transformer for the mobile charger so it is a very low power transformer. You can make your own transformer for better results of this inverter.  because it’s very short with few components power inverter that is transistor may heat. So use a heat sink with a transistor.

DC to AC Power Converter circuit feature working

DC to AC Power Converter is often needed at the places where it is not possible to get AC supply. DC to AC power converter circuit is used to convert the DC power to AC power. In this article, we are going to make 1.5v DC to 220v AC. Converters can be of two types pure sine wave converters and quasi or modified converters. Pure sine wave converters are costly but modified or quasi converters are inexpensive. These modified dc to ac power Converter produces a square wave and these are not used to power delicate electronic equipment.  I am explaining a modified DC to AC converter is a very simple way with only 1 transistor and Two transistors.

In the first circuit diagram, we have built a very very simple dc to ac converter with a single transistor only. It’s not a Pure sine wave inverter so please do not check its output with a multimeter because your multimeter will be damaged if you check the output with it.

  1. 12v Battery
  2. 2sc5200 Transistors
  3. 220ohm to 1k Resistor (depending on your transformer)
  4. 12-0-12   220 Volts step-up transformer. (6-0-6 transformer will also work)

A 12 Volts DC to AC converter can also be designed using MOS FITS.

Principle Of this Circuit

The basic idea behind every dc to ac converter circuit is to produce oscillations using the given DC and apply these oscillations across the primary of the transformer by amplifying the current. This primary voltage is then stepped up to a higher voltage depending upon the number of turns in primary and secondary coils. keep in mind if the turns of coils will be more then the converter will produce high volts and if the number of turns will be few then it will generate low voltages.

Components required

  1. 12v Battery
  2. 2sc5200 Transistors
  3. 1 to 5k Resistor (depending on your transformer)
  4. 12-0-12   220 Volts step-up transformer.

You can also design DC to  AC converter with a misfit.

It is also the same as a single dc to ac converter transistor invert-er only difference is that it has two transistor 12v inverter. Its power is two times better than a single transistor dc to the ac power inverterThe transistors which we have used are also very powerful so these transistors can not heat up while working.

working is the same as a single transistor you may use a 6-0-6 transformer with 6 volt DC. It’s an experimental invert-er. you can use a PNP transistor instead of NPN only ischemic will be changing here we are also uploading the circuit diagram with a PNP transistor.
